It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory L Long (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on September 11, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Smoutherson Hough and Edward White; and his sister Brenda Smoutherson Pryor (Raymond). He is survived by: his siblings, Reverend Curtis Long Sr. (Cynthia) of Kannapolis, NC, Kevin Smoutherson (Yolanda) of Charlotte, NC, James Smoutherson of Charlotte, NC, Vanessa Smoutherson of Concord, NC and Frances Smoutherson (Roosevelt) of Charlotte, NC; his children, Tavhres Cruse of Concord, NC and Alexandria Long of Concord, NC; and his granddaughter Aliyah Marie Helms. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
