He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Benton Honbarger; his sisters, Helen Swenson and Edna Earl Simmons; and his granddaughter Lesli Nicole Hooper. He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Jung (Danny) of Concord, Wanda Hines (Joe) of Irmo, SC and Barbara Hooper (Joe McIntyre); his brother Rodney Honbarger (Connie); his grandchildren, Jon (Jessica), Brandon Jung, Wendy, Peter and Brad Hines; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Kirsten and Kinsley Jung.
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation or Cabarrus County Hospice.
