He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Sturdivant and Esther Tilman Sturdivant; and his siblings, Esther Elaine Sturdivant and Robert Charles Sturdivant (Rose) of Burnsville. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Love Sturdivant; his children, Harold "Peanut" Sturdivant, Jr. of Concord, Artavia "Bubbie" Freeman (Tony) of Clover, SC, LaTricia, Gilmore (Kevin) of Concord, Twana "Punkin" DeShazo (Mitch) of Davidson and Darian Sturdivant of Statesville; his siblings, William Sturdivant of Albermarle, Rosetta Shufford of Oakboro, Eddie Sturdivant of New Haven, CT, Cassie Kluttz (Paul) of Albermarle, Ernestine Sturdivant (Walter) of Oakboro, Phyllis Taylor (Donnell) of Oakboro, Marcella Sturdivant of Oakboro, Warren Sturdivant of Pinesville, LA and Angela Sturdivant of Minneapolis, MN; his great-grandaunt Marion Gatewood of Charlotte; and his uncle Thomas Tilman of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
