She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Howie and Essie Iola Walker Howie. She is survived by: her brother Clyde Buford Howie (Mildred) of Philadelphia, PA; her nephews, Donald Wayne Howie (Barbara) of New York, Leslie Anderson (Charmaine) of Ft. Washington, MD, Anthony Barnette (Cynthia) of Raleigh, NC and Johnathan Howie (Yolanda) of Baltimore, MD; her niece Regina Anderson Grigsby of Washington, DC; and her great-nieces, Lisa Mobley Blake (William) of Richmond, VA and Courtney Grigsby of Washington, DC.
