It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iris Williams (Concord, North Carolina), born in Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, H. M. Powers and Myrtle West Powers; her former husband L. Jackson Poole; and her siblings, Bernadine Rains (Sparky), Louise Smith (Elswick), Joanne Sanders, Martha Priest and Joel Powers (Brenda).
She is survived by: her husband Roger F. Williams; her sons, Steven Dale Poole (Rita) of Tyler, TX and Michael Lee Poole (Elizabeth) of Concord; her stepdaughter Karen W. Ridenhour of Concord; her grandchildren, Sidney Vanessa Poole, Christopher Steven Poole (Anette), Leanna Poole Arroyo (Luis), Lee Jackson Poole II, Megan Poole Shuping (Bryan), Benjamin Michael Poole and Angie Ridenhour Belk (Billy); and her great grandchildren, Hudson Christopher Poole and Kaleigh Tulsa Belk. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
