He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dutch Clay, Sr. and Wateree Forrest Clay; and his son Jerry Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Faye Sutton Clay; his children, Cathy Marlow, Wateree Allen and Jack Clay Jr. (Jennifer); and his brothers, Jimmie Clay (Betty) and David Clay (Nancy). He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
The family will hold private services, and request that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the Elma C. Lomax Research and Education Farm, 3445 Atando Rd., Concord, NC 28025 in Jack's honor.
