He is survived by: his sons, James Lee Redding (Doris) of Concord, Joseph Carl Redding and Marsha Ingold of Huntersville; his grandsons, James Patrick Redding (Kathryn Reklis) and John Robert Redding; his great grandchildren, Phineas Reklis-Redding and Beatrice Reklis-Redding; his brother Coy Elmer Redding; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Tucker Vogler, Janice Tucker Beatty, Robert Beatty and Archie Kennedy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
