He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Shipp and Maudie Shipp; his daughter Frances Patton; and his grandson Mark Shipp. He is survived by: his wife Annie M. Shipp; his children, Veronica Shipp, Melonie Shipp, Anthony Shipp and Timothy Shipp; and his granddaughters, Francine Patton of Barry Patton, J. T and Cameron Shipp. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
