She was predeceased by: her husband Kennith D. Smith; her son Kennith Edward Smith; and her siblings, Hoyle Huneycutt, Hubert Huneycutt, Bill Huneycutt, Harold Huneycutt, Mildred Love and Ilene Harwood.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Eugene Smith (Mary) of Charlotte and Susan Smith Carter (Craig) of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, Keith Eugene Smith, Jr. of Olin, Keeley Smith Ward (Chad) of Harmony, Ashley Carter Harris (Dave) of Huntersville and Amanda Carter Blethen of Charlotte; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Ward, Cooper Ward, Mallory Harris, Addison Blethen and Ellie Blethen.
