He was predeceased by: his parents, Morrison "Blackberry" Eddleman Sanders and Emma Viola Weddington Sanders; and his siblings, Betty Jean Sanders Smith and Morrison E. "Buck" Sanders, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Sims Sanders; his daughters, Angel S. Teems (Rhett) of Salisbury and Emilie S. Watson (Cole) of Fuquay Varina; his niece Alice Kluttz (Bob); and his nephews, Harold Smith (Margie), Woody Weddington (Helen) and Richard Sanders (Debbie).
