We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2020, at the age of 90, Joan Hanning of Concord, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Ward and Mary Ward (Simpson); her spouse Gale Hanning; her son Gary Hanning; and her siblings, Wendell Ward, Lyle Ward and Sara Logsdon.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Hood (James) of Concord; her grandchildren, Angela Jurisch (Mitch), Laura Wolcenski (Ryan), Allison Hanning, Jason Hood (Rene'), Marc Hood, Eric Hood (Ashley) and Michael Hood (Jessica); her daughter-in-law Kathleen Hanning of Fridley; her great grandchildren, Jordan Hood, Cecil Hood, Aiden Hood, Cassidy Wolcenski, Hunter Wolcenski, Ava Hood, Jonah Hood and Levi Hood; and her sister Carole Wells (Russell) of Roodhouse. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
