She was predeceased by: her daughter Robin Kester Sutherland; and her brother William C Wilson. She is survived by: her mother Jackie; her children, Melanie Canup (Scott) of Mt Pleasant, Eric Kester of Roanoke and Paige Gesing; her grandchildren, Ashley Hanson (Laura) of Kannapolis and Allison Peadon; and her brother Robert Wilson of Charlotte.
