She is survived by: her parents, Joe Bentley and Vicki Bentley; her husband Art Hathcock of Concord; her son Dalton Hathcock; her sister Molly Bentley Essick (Brody) of Welcome, NC; and her sibling's child Eden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to continuing Dalton Hathcock's education at UNCW, c/o any branch of the NC State Employees Credit Union (SECU).
