He was predeceased by: his parents, George Merton Lee and Grace Freeze Lee; his brother Bobby Lee; and his daughter Ashlyn Lee. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Ratcliffe Lee of Concord, NC; his sister-in-law Willie-Mae Lee of Belton, SC; his children, Tammy Hutchings and Joe W. Lee, Jr. (Jan W. Lee); his grandchildren, Zack Lee (Natalie W. Lee), Jacob Lee, Bryson Lee, Evan Lee, Jordan Lee and Gabriel Hutchings; and his great grandchild Josephine G. Lee.
