He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Whittington Hinson and Rubin Lawson Hinson, Sr.; and his brother Jerry Lawson Hinson. He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Hagler (Jerry); his granddaughter Candice Thomason-Hudson (Christopher James Hudson); and his great grandchild Paisley-Ann Grace Hudson. He is also survived by his wife of 57 years whom he married.
