She was predeceased by: her parents, P. E. Harvell and Ethel Harvell Harvell; her husband Houston Clifford Baker; her siblings, Wayne Harvell, Alice Harvell McEachern and Pearl Harvell; and also Ray Harvell.

She is survived by: her sisters, Oralee Harvell of Concord and Ruth Simpson of Concord; and her nephew Tommy Pope. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
