She was predeceased by: her father Charles Grady Love; her husband Olen Barbee "Bob" Almond; her son Mike Almond; and her sisters, Bonnie Barbee and Betty Maxwell.
She is survived by: her sons, Kelly Almond of Reidsville, Jeff Almond of Raleigh and Doug Almond of Pine Hall, NC; her sister Louise Lowder of Oakboro; and her grandchildren, Shelly Mills of Concord, Joe Almond of Concord, Mathew Almond of Salisbury, NC, Chandler Almond of San Diego, Noah Almond of Raleigh, Ezekiel Almond, Navy and Numerous. She is also survived by Numerous great grandchildren.
