She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Baxter Barbee and Mamie Linker Barbee; and her spouse Riley Grier Honeycutt. She is survived by: her sons, Greg Honeycutt (Wendy) of Locust and Tommy Honeycutt of Albemarle; her grandsons, Taylor Honeycutt (Haley) of Concord and John Owen Honeycutt of Los Angeles, CA; and her sister Shirley Barnes of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Alzheimers Association, 4600 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28209 or to Cabarrus Meals on Wheels, 342 Penny Lane NE Concord NC 28025.
