She was predeceased by: her parents, William Daniel Kennedy and Mary Margaret Thompson Kennedy; and her sister-in-law Sherry Kennedy. She is survived by: her daughter Kristi Short (Trent) of Concord; her grandson Zack Gardner of Concord; her brother William Don Kennedy of Columbia, SC; and her nieces, Jenny Baxley (Davis) and Leigh Montague.
