He is survived by: his children, Denisha Nesbit (Dexter) of Concord, La Mechia N. Smith of Concord, Lacasa Torrence of Concord, Niekron A. Smith of Concord and Jonathan Luckey of Concord; his grandchildren, Devin Toomer of Concord, Me Abre D. Smith of Concord and Daylin Nesbit of Concord; and his siblings, Ruth Scott-Sumlin (Willie) of Concord, Carol Peek (Mark) of Concord, Shelia Edmonds of Concord, Melanie Grant of Charlotte, David E. Scott (Valerie) of Charlotte and Larry W. Rucker (Gloria) of Concord. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
