He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonner Franklin Long and Helen Harrison Long. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Long; his daughters, Wendy Tucker (Greg) of Oakboro and Candy Russell of Stanfield; his grandchildren, Allison Teeter, John Owen Tucker, Cali Dean Russell and Laney Ruth Tucker; his great grandchild Asher Lee Dedmon; and his brother Garry Long (Elizabeth). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
