He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Sherrill Shinn Sr. and Annie Smith Shinn; and his aunts, Lavina and Zella Smith. He is survived by: his cousins, Janice McClellan (Mike) of Concord, NC and Tim Barrier (Becky); and his pet Jake. He is also survived by numerous other cousins and friends.
