He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Mae Bost and Charles Albert Bost; and his brother Edward Bost. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Thornton Bost; his daughter Willa Patrice; his close friend Judith Hadley; his granddaughters, Yophi Bost and Michaela Bost; his brother Charles A. Bost Jr. Michael Bost (Ruby); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Bost. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
