She was predeceased by: her parents, John O. Carter and Lilly Mae Dry Carter; her husband Martin L. Barrier; her son Dewayne Barrier; her siblings, Billy Carter (Audrey) and Mae Jenkins (Elwood); her nephew John Jenkins; and her brother-in-law Edward Frye.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Frye; and her niece Libby McLester (Ronald). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family members.
