It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Poston of Concord, North Carolina, born in Winnsboro, South Carolina, who passed away on June 20, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morse William Poston, Sr. and Dora Bell Sanders Poston; his wife Ruby Lois Boots Poston; and his siblings, Hattie Louise Poston Branham, Betty Sanders Poston Carlton, Morse William "Billy" Poston, Jr. and Esther Rebecca "Becky" Poston Medlin.
He is survived by: his daughter Nikki Fisher (Bobby) of Concord, NC; his granddaughters, Sydney Brandon (Dalton), Morgan Fisher and Kendal Fisher; his stepdaughter Jeri Simpson of China Grove, NC; his grandchildren, Gloria Lambert (Jody), Heath Simpson (Rachel), Kristin Simpson and Garrell Simpson; and his sisters, Helen Mincey (Charles), Doris Smith, Nancy Boone and Sandra Ramsey.
