It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard James (Concord, North Carolina), born in Mount Croghan, South Carolina, who passed away on March 7, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Spoffard James and Bessie Coralee Tucker James; and his siblings, Pete James, David James, John James, Lether Mae Tucker, Gracie Cain, Mary Katherine Morrison, Ronnie James and Grady James.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Allen James; his daughters, Cheryl Talkington (Chris) and Rita Whitaker; his grandson Randall Patton (Amy); his great grandchildren, Rosalee and Althea Patton; and his siblings, L. C. "Ducky" James, Jerrell James and Margaret Sheets.
