He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Sherrill Hunsucker and Lonnie Lee Hunsucker; his daughter Judy Ann Furr Chunn; and his stepson Scott Sloop. He is survived by: his brother William; his children, Tamara Beth Hunsucker Kastler of Greenville, SC and Lonnie Joel Hunsucker (Lynn) of Concord; his stepdaughters, Janet Readling and Marsha Liles; and his sister Sarah Hager of Troutman.
