He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary E. West; and his children, Dan West (Dianne) of Canton, OH, Daniel West (Becky) of Mt. Gilead, NC, Teresa Smithers (Randy) of Danville, VA and Angela Vaughn (Robert) of Mt. Pleasant, NC. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
