She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee and Doris Foster Petty. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" H. Lentz, Sr.; her children, Daniel Lentz (Suzanne) of Kannapolis, Dedri Minutolo of Johnson City, TN, Laura Gray (Jeff) of Kannapolis and Mary Margaret Richardson (Chris) of Concord; and her sisters, Judy Parris and Nancy Alexander. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, 1030 Burrage Road NE, Concord, NC 28025.
