She was predeceased by: her children, Adam S. Swink, Jr, Fred W. Swink and Rachel D. McLain. She is survived by: her husband John Edward Bock; her sister Audrey Barnette; her grandchildren, Teresa Swink Baucom, Tammy Swink, Tonda Swink, Jack Allen McLain, Michael McLain, Derek Belts, Cathy Swink, Frankie Swink, Janet Beaver and Lisa Marie Swink; and her daughter-in-law Lois Swink. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County and the Uwharrie, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
