She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernesto Antunez of Moya Asencio and Hortensia Antunez; her husband Elmer Peter Charnoski; and her sister Raquel of Moya. She is survived by: her daughter Ann Marie Valles (Anthony) of Concord, NC; her sister Myrtha Kreitzburg (Jon) of Casa Grande, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Brianna and Zackary Valles. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Although Maria suffered with Parkinson's for many years, she always made sure to help others and those who were less fortunate.
