She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Joshua Brooks and Lola Wallace Brooks; her husband Dan L. Gray, Sr.; her children, Lori Gray Newsom (Lee), Dan L. Gray, Jr. (Samantha) and John Brooks Gray; her grandchildren, Kathryn Newsom Taylor (Will), Anne Newsom Anuszkiewicz (Brad), Mary Hannah Newsom McCombs (Michael), Camille Brooks Besecker Gray, Luke Weldon Besecker Gray and Isaiah "Zaiah" Thomas Besecker Gray; and her great grandchild Haven Myra Taylor.
