He was predeceased by: his parents, William Johnson and Glennie Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Johnson of Concord; his children, Ellen Young (Bryon), Liz Tanous (Steve) of Georgia, Daniel Johnson (Tawnie) of Ohio, Mary Teadt (Don) of Michigan and Amy Gaines (Chad) of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, LeEllen Despaw (Chris), Phillip Young (Stacy), Douglas Teadt (Lisa), Marcus Teadt, Matthew Tanous (Stella), Thomas Teadt (Leann), Kevin Tanous (Hayley), Bradley Johnson, Austin Johnson, Jenna Gaines, Monica Gaines and Trenton Gaines. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
