It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patti Merrington of Concord, North Carolina, born in Midland, North Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Abernethy and Mary Lee Abernethy; and her son David Leon Merrington. She is survived by: her husband Linnie Carson Merrington of Concord, NC; and her son Jeffrey Merrington.
