With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip Ashley Short of Concord, North Carolina, born in Endicott, New York, who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashley Short and Mildred Jones Short; his wife Lois Short (DeVita); and his sister Norma Jean McAvoy. He is survived by: his children, Allan Short (Eve) of Spanish Fort, AL and Becky Doughton (Jeff Shuster) of Roanoke, VA; his stepchildren, Keith Campbell of Greene, NY, Lory Campbell of Charlotte, NC, Kenneth Campbell of Endicott, NY and Karen Warden (Jamie) of Lakewood, NY; his brother Kenneth Short (Barbara) of Hilton, NY.; and his grandchildren, Matthew Short (Adaira), Caroline Short, Michael Doughton (Calleb Queen), Jenny Cannon (Logan), John Doughton, Garrett Doughton, Kelly Campbell, Kent Campbell, Jeffrey Warden (Kayla), Steven Warden and Shane Campbell.
