He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oliver Bonds, Sr. and Rose White Miller Bonds; and his grandmother Barnhardt Bonds. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Bonds (Sherry) of Concord and Anna Locklear (Craig) of Concord; his stepbrothers, Nick Allen (Carol) of Dana Point, CA and Doug Allen (Sparky) of Sparks, NV; his nieces and nephews, Jessie Bonds of Kannapolis, James Bonds, III of Concord, Melissa Locklear Myers (Ryan) of Concord and Philip Locklear of Concord; his great-nephew Atticus Waller; and his great-niece Riley Myers.
