He was predeceased by: his parents, Reckard Gray and Bessie Pless Gray; his brothers, Frank Gray and Earl Gray; and his son-in-law Milton Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Goodman Gray; his daughters, Melanie Gray Turner of Concord and Gina Gray Coleman (Trent) of Concord; his grandchildren, Chris Turner, Anita Turner, Jordan Safrit, Loren Coleman and Chandler Coleman; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Katie and Oaklyn Safrit; and his siblings-in-law, Carl Goodman (Brenda), Geneva Gray, Margie Gray and Frances Goodman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
