He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Virgil Ashley and Ina Mae Ball; and his siblings, Joyce Ross and Ken Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Robin Michelle Ashley; his daughter Summer Ashley Swenson (Michael Swenson) of Fort Mitchell, AL.; his grandchildren, Sophie, Abram and Isla Swenson; and his siblings, Bobbi Hartsell of Mt Pleasant, Kathy Gillespie of Concord, Scott Ashley of Kannapolis and Jeff Ashley.
