He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew "Mac" and Annie Burleson Lambert; his siblings, Jim Lambert and Maxine Watkins; and his grandson Landon Lambert.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Elizabeth Melchor Lambert of Concord; his children, Lauren E. L. Gallion (Brandon) of Keller, TX, Bradford "Brad" J. Lambert (Kelly) of Concord and Mark A. Lambert (Jill) of Albemarle; his brother Mike Lambert of Leland, NC; and his grandchildren, Malcolm, River Lambert, Xander, Simon Gallion, Vica and Alex Lambert.
