It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Noonkester (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on March 23, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Noonkester and Pauline Noonkester; and his grandson Jesse Dalton Sowards. He is survived by: his wife Della; his daughter Amy Sowards (Kelly B. Sowards, Sr.) of Concord, NC; his granddaughter Shianne Sowards; his stepgrandchildren, Samantha Sowards and K. "Brent" Sowards, Jr.; and his siblings, Mike Noonkester of Clayton, NC and Carol Noonkester (Jimmy Nelson) of Abingdon, VA..
