She was predeceased by: her parent Oliver Smith; her husband Willie James Tomblin, Sr.; and her son Willie James Tomblin, Jr.. She is survived by: her parent Ruby Shuford; her daughter Lavern Tomblin; her great grandchildren, Mark Davis of Lexington, Sampson Tomblin, Jonathan Tomblin of Concord, Shaylynn Valentine and Justice Valentine; her niece Mamie Jefferies (Billy Joe) of Salisbury; and her nephew James Walker (Katrina) of Salisbury. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.
