She is survived by: her children, Millicent Ann Atkinson of Kannapolis, NC, Valerie Eason (Dred) of Charlotte, NC, James Barrier, III (Jacqueline) of Kannapolis, Alfred Barrier, Sr. (Virginia) of Concord and Allen Starks, Sr. (Pam) of Kannapolis, NC; her sister Emma Starks of Concord, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Elnora Barrier of Concord and Patricia Barrier of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
