He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Denise W. Bass; his children, Kendyl Madison Bass and Samuel Mark Bass Jr.; his parents, Peggy A. Bass of Concord, N. C. and David H. Bass of Colonial Heights; and his siblings, Richard A. Bass, Kidney Foundation, P. O. Box and Chappaqua.
