It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonjia Renee McHone of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Toledo Danner Barnhardt and Ruth Marshall Barnhardt; and her sons, Donald Beaver, Jr. and Richard McHone. She is survived by: her daughter Rozalyn Lehning (George) of Concord; her granddaughter Sydni Andrews (Blaine) of Concord; her great grandchildren, Dylan and Clark Andrews; and her son-in-law Tom Abernathy, Jr. of Concord.
