With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Williams Sr. (Concord, North Carolina), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on April 29, 2020 at the age of 52. He was predeceased by: his father James C. Williams; his grandmothers, Ethel Stewart and Evelyn Samuel; and his uncles, Anthony Stewart, Allen Stewart, Ronald Samuel and Randolph Samuel.
He is survived by: his mother Deborah Williams Ferguson; his sister Jo; his children, Shaquanna Baldwin of Charlotte, Stevie Baldwin of Charlotte, Sean Williams of Charlotte and Jacqui Williams; his sisters, JoCelyn Roundtree (Jonathan) of New Haven, Krystal Williams of New Haven and Jamila Williams of New Haven; his aunts, Gloria Stewart, Diane Stewart, Carol Stewart, Gertrude Brown (Jimmy), Christine Greene, Dorothy Roach, Ramona Smith (Russell), Barbara Pitts and Nancy Samuel; and his former wife Valorie Williams. He is also survived by four nieces; three nephews; a host of other relatives, close friends.
