Strickland Dalton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Strickland Dalton (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on October 23, 2019 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. "Bud" Dalton and Betty Thompson Dalton; and his siblings, Lana Dalton and Frank Dalton. He is survived by: his wife Susan Weaver Dalton; his children, Erin D. Plummer (Rusty) of Harrisburg and Erik A. Dalton (Abbie); his grandsons, Jeron Plummer and Luka Dalton; his siblings, Diane Camp, Rhoda Locklear of Monroe, Elwin Dalton of Concord and Olin Dalton (Melvia) of Concord; and his sister-in-law Joanie Dalton of Concord. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cabarrus County Education Foundation, 4401 Old Airport Road, Concord, NC 28025.
