He is survived by: his children, Tyrone Blackwelder, Marcus Blackwelder (Melva) and Mari Patton of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Shirmarka (Henry), Olajuwon-Wonnie, Lance, Domonique, Sharmaine, Damarquis-Dee (Betty), Tyshun, Theodore-Teddy, Robert-Bam, Tylivia, Cierra, Marquisha, Bree, Wisdom, Zaire, Jiya, Jimel, Mecca, Mazin, Corey and Amirra; his sisters, Verna Leach of Salisbury, NC and Brenda Blackwelder of Concord, NC; his daughter-in-law Ernestine Blackwelder; his uncle Frank Blackwelder; his aunt Annie Jean Anderson; his close friend Gladys Allison; and also Asiah. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
