It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Veda Medlin of Concord, North Carolina, born in Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Cleveland Helms Sr. and Martha Elizabeth Eudy Helms; her husband Thomas Carroll; and her siblings, Dewey, G. C. Helms, Rachel Deese, Lelon Deese, Mae Gossett and Dartha "Dot" Vanderburg.
She is survived by: her niece Dakeita Vanderburg of Concord, NC; her great-nephew Hayden Horton of Charlotte, NC; her great-niece Hunter Horton of Washington, D. C.; and also Mark Horton of Concord, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
