She is survived by: her children, Robert Cedric Ellis of Concord, NC and Jackie E. Ellis (Hughes Crisp) of Charlotte, NC.; her grandchildren, Robert C. Ellis (Marlena King) of Concord, NC, Justin Ellis of Charlotte, NC, Cierria Mercado (Michael Mercado) of Charlotte, NC, Rashawn Poon of Wilmington, Elijah Ellis of Wilmington and Malcolm Crisp of Charlotte, NC.; her great grandchildren, Genesis and Mya Ellis of Concord, NC; and her close friends, Francis Murray and Jeff Murray. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
On December 23, 2021, Mrs. Willie Ellis went to be with the Lord after a hard-fought bout with COVID-Pneumonia.
