She is survived by: her husband James Darrell Shives Sr.; her children, Jerry Smith (Jaime) of Concord, Lacey Russell (Justin) of Harrisburg, Michael Smith (Natalie) of Concord, James Shives Jr. (Tiffany) of Concord and Gabby Barker (Josh) of Kannapolis; her grandchildren, Alecx Hough, James Michael Smith II, Landon Smith, Ryleigh Smith, Mackenzy Shives, Lenox Russell, Marley Barker, Macie Smith, Lawson Russell, Harper Shives, Scout Smith, Wilson Barker and Hazel Grace Barker; her sisters, Wanda LoBianco (Bob) of Salisbury and Joy High of Concord; her nephew Joseph Smith; her nieces, Crystal Smith, Brittany High and Kealey High; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Agner, Dianne Motley and Dawn Cain.
